After announcing that it would resurrect the Haunted House franchise, it now looks as if Atari may have some other retro revivals up its sleeve. Listings for Star Raiders and Centipede have both popped up on GameFly (via Joystiq, Siliconera), suggesting that the two games may each be in line for some sort of remake or revival.

Both games were released around the same time as Haunted House, which was released in 1982. Star Raiders was an early space combat sim released in 1979, and the classic shooter Centipede was first released in 1980.

GameFly doesn’t deal in downloadable games, so it seems safe to assume that these games — if they’re real, and GameFly is often correct about these things — will be disc-based retail games, and could also potentially have PC versions, since GameFly wouldn’t make any mention of those even if they did exist.
