GhostSlayer, Flight Control Available on Nintendo Downloads

GhostSlayer

Nintendo offers up plenty of Wii and DS games for this week’s downloadable update, but in an unusual move, no new Virtual Console titles have been made available. WiiWare brings us GhostSlayer for 600 points ($6), an action game that uses your Wii remote as the protagonist’s sword. Mouse House, also 600 points, is a puzzle game in which the player helps a mouse through a series of traps and mazes. Family Go-Kart Racing for 500 points ($5) stars Billy, Sarah, Daddy and Mommy in – you guessed it – a kart racer. It uses the Wii remote to steer and uses special items like bombs and lightning – not unlike a certain other popular kart racer.

DSiWare brings a few of its own originals to the table, along with a port of a popular iPhone game. Flight Control is a high seller on the iPhone, and now comes to DSi for 500 points. Aura-Aura Climber for 200 points ($2) stars a little, well, star, who uses a grapple arm to climb high into the sky. We can’t help but notice that sounds vaguely familiar. Faceez for 200 points is, predictably, another photo manipulation app, but features some Facebook connectivity for added value. Finally, Flipper features a young boy trying to find his stolen goldfish. It’s available for 500 points.
